See AllLoarre's Castle The castle abbey of Loarre (in Aragonese castiello de Lobarre) is a Romanesque castle located in the town of the same name, in the Sierra de Loarre, in the province of Huesca, autonomous community of Aragon.Loarre Castle was the protagonist of the filming of the film Kingdom of Heaven (2005), directed by Ridley Scott and starring Orlando Bloom, Eva Green, Liam Neeson and Jeremy Irons among others.Palace of the Marquises of Ayerbe Also known as the Palace of the Marquises of Urriés, it is a large 15th century building with gothic elements and the remains of an interior Renaissance courtyard. Placed in the center of the population, it is symbol of identity of the same one.During the War of Independence it served as a fortification for the French. At the beginning of the 20th century, the Coiduras family was the owner.Declared a Historic-Artistic Monument on June 3, 1931, it was transformed into a flourishing trade until the 1970s. At the beginning of the 21st century, Mª José and Marta Coiduras sold the palace to José Mª Romeo and his wife Carmen Ruiz. After almost four years of refurbishment, in July 2004 it opened its doors as a private music school under the name of Palacio de la Música "El Pilar".San Pedro's Church The church of San Pedro, in Ayerbe (Spain), is a construction of ashlar, ashlar, brick and tapial that offers work from various eras. The nave has five sections and a polygonal main chapel. The interior decoration of the temple is of neoclassical conception: pilasters and cornices are inspired by the Ionic order, which they follow faithfully. There is a choir at the feet over lunettes and with a front with a carpanel arch.The façade shows a programmed decoration, all of it is made of stone and concentrates its decoration on the façade. The façade is protected, inside, by a wooden screen made of smooth panels. Today, the church does not have a tower. Its factory dates back to the 16th century, conserving works from different periods.It has an important religious museum and an organ, with vertical and horizontal trumpets, from the middle of the XIX century.
